Seller Guidelines
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Blessed Thrift brings independent sellers and buyers together. These guidelines support honest listings, reliable service, and a respectful Blessed Tribe marketplace. They apply alongside our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
1. Your store and responsibilities
Provide accurate account and store information, keep your account secure, and maintain current shipping, refund, and payment details. You are responsible for the items you offer, your authority to sell them, and compliance with applicable consumer, product-safety, tax, and payment-provider requirements.
Stores must be submitted for review before appearing publicly. Approval is permission to participate in the marketplace, not a certification of authenticity, safety, product quality, or guaranteed sales. A membership payment does not guarantee approval.
2. Membership and featured placement
Seller membership costs $9 per month or $75 per year in U.S. dollars and renews automatically on the selected billing cycle until canceled. Use Manage membership in your seller area to view renewal information, update payment details, switch plans, or cancel. Review the amount and any applicable tax shown at checkout before authorizing payment.
After three failed payment retries, your store is unpublished. You can still sign in, renew your membership, and resubmit your store for approval. Cancellation and the end of membership do not eliminate responsibilities for existing orders.
Approved stores may purchase an optional, one-time featured placement for $47 for 31 days. There are eight concurrent spots; a spot opens when a placement ends. Featured stores are identified as paid placements and removed from the featured section when their time ends. Featuring does not guarantee traffic, sales, or a particular position. Membership and featuring do not override moderation decisions.
3. Accurate listings
- List only items you own or are authorized to sell. Use the correct marketplace category and an accurate condition designation.
- State the price, available quantity, shipping charge, handling time, relevant measurements, brand, and material or authenticity information you can substantiate.
- Describe and photograph known wear, damage, missing parts, alterations, and other material flaws. Do not present replicas as authentic branded goods.
- Use images you have permission to publish. Photos must represent the actual item; avoid misleading filters, stock images presented as item photos, or unsupported claims.
- Keep inventory current and remove or archive items that are unavailable. Do not take payment for an item you cannot fulfill.
4. Prohibited and restricted items
Do not offer illegal, stolen, counterfeit, recalled, unsafe, or infringing goods. Do not list weapons or ammunition, controlled substances, illegal drug paraphernalia, prescription medicines, tobacco or vaping products, alcohol, explicit sexual material, or goods that promote hate or exploitation. Listings must also comply with the restrictions of the payment provider used for the transaction.
A marketplace category is not authorization to sell every item that could fit within it. If an item's legality, safety, authenticity, or provider eligibility is uncertain, do not list it until you have verified that it may lawfully be sold and shipped.
5. Payments and fulfillment
Product purchases currently use seller-provided Cash App, Zelle, or Venmo payment instructions. These are direct seller payments, not card payments collected by Blessed Thrift on your behalf. Stripe processes platform membership and featured-placement charges separately.
Follow your provider's business-use rules. Never ask a buyer to disguise a purchase as a personal transfer or use a payment type that removes protections contrary to provider rules. Confirm cleared funds in your own account before shipping; a screenshot or a buyer marking payment as sent is not proof of receipt.
Pack items carefully, ship within your stated handling time, and provide accurate carrier and tracking information when available. If you cannot fulfill an order, promptly inform the buyer and resolve the payment or refund rather than leaving the order unresolved.
6. Customer service, returns, and refunds
Publish clear shipping and return policies before accepting orders. Respond respectfully to buyers and resolve damaged, missing, incorrect, or materially misdescribed items in accordance with applicable law and your disclosed policies. A 'no returns' statement does not remove mandatory consumer rights.
Refund requests are not automatic refunds. For direct payments, the seller issues the refund through the original payment provider where possible. An order marked seller-reported refunded is a seller's record, not independent verification that funds arrived. Keep transaction records and follow provider procedures for disputes.
7. Buyer information and AI tools
Use buyer names, email addresses, mailing addresses, and order details only to fulfill the order, provide related service, and meet legal obligations. Do not sell that information, add buyers to marketing lists without the required permission, or publish their details.
Logo generation and photo enhancement are optional. Upload only images and prompts you have permission to use. Review every result before publishing; enhancement must not change a person's identity, conceal product flaws, imply authenticity, or otherwise mislead buyers. You remain responsible for the finished listing and any intellectual-property rights.
8. Enforcement and reporting
Blessed Thrift may request corrections, remove listings, restrict tools, deny approval, or suspend a store for violations, suspected fraud, safety concerns, or legal requirements. Depending on the circumstances, action may occur without advance notice. A seller may respond to feedback and request review through the available account or moderation communications.
Report suspected abuse through Report a Store. Cooperate with legitimate investigations and preserve relevant order records. Do not retaliate against a buyer or community member who raises a concern.
